The extensive menu consists of specialty burgers, fries and poutine, shakes and desserts.  Their burger prices range from $5.99 for a Jr. Cheeseburger to a whopping $29.99 which includes a burger that has 3 patties with ghost peppers!

Their burgers are the star at the restaurant and they have got something for everyone, especially heart clogging yet utterly delicious and juicy burgers. Based on a recommendation, I ordered the “holy cow” burger (I believe it was $12.99) which was the “jr. Cheeseburger” plus the “animal feed” burger, which is the panko crusted portobello mushroom stuffed with feta and cream cream cheese, in one burger. The burger patty was thin but full of flavour and was a delicious pairing with the thick mushroom. The cheese oozed out as I bit into the burger. The burger was juicy, well seasoned and filling. I added a bit of ketchup, the only condiment that the restaurant offered at each table. The burger was ridiculous but also very heavy. I ate it at 9:00pm and went to bed early!

My friend went all out and ordered the most expensive burger, the “holy duck” burger. The server said she has not seen the burger before and was excited to see it. I guess this splurge burger is not ordered often. Who has $29.99 to spend on a burger regularly unless you have that kind of money? This burger was insane with Quebec seared foie gras, double smoked bacon, pure Canadian maple syrup and white truffles. I took a bite and the burger was extremely rich and juicy, with juices dripping into my hand. My only complaint was that the patty was too salty. This burger is worth it to try once. Although the burger is not big, the ingredients were rich, so it was filling. My friend went into a food coma afterwards and slept well that night.

Overall:

The burgers are not for the faint of heart. I don’t know how anyone can eat their “Go chuck yourself” burger which has 6 patties, 6 cheeses and triple bacon and not have a heart attack? If you have tried it, what did you think? This will be my go-to joint for over-the-top burgers, just don’t expect to be productive or be awake afterwards.
